SMS Consent & Messaging Terms

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Invitease Event Messages are transactional SMS communications sent for a specific event. They may include a personalized invitation link, RSVP reminders, event reminders, and a post-event thank-you message.

How guests opt in

Before adding a guest's mobile number for managed SMS delivery, the event host must ask the guest for permission to receive Invitease messages about that event. The host must identify Invitease, describe the message types, explain that message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply, and explain STOP and HELP. The host may add the guest only after the guest clearly agrees.

Verbal consent script

Hosts use this request: “May Invitease send you text messages for this event, including your invitation, RSVP reminders, event reminders, and a thank-you message? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.”

Host confirmation

By submitting a guest for SMS delivery, the host confirms that the guest gave permission through this workflow. Hosts must retain a record of when and how consent was obtained and provide it if Invitease requests it. Purchased, rented, scraped, and randomly generated contact lists are prohibited.

Confirmation message

Invitease: Event messages enabled. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required to purchase. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.

Opt out and help

A recipient can reply STOP at any time to stop SMS from the Invitease number. Reply START or UNSTOP to opt back in. Reply HELP for assistance or email hello@invitease.co. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Privacy and terms

Consent is specific to the relevant event and is not permission to send unrelated promotions. Mobile information is not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
